Grandidierite crystal of considerable size for the species, of a very uniform and deep bluish green color, and accompanied in the base of the crystal by a pseudomorph, possibly after Tourmaline, replaced by minerals whose species could not be clearly identified, beyond being a mixture of silica gel with remnants of Opal.
