Group of Rhodochrosite crystals on matrix, forming parallel polycrystalline aggregates, of intense and uniform pink color and with good luster, exhibiting a habit that is not very common in the Wessels mine. A very aesthetic specimen for the locality.

Druse of well-developed rhombohedral crystals of Rhodochrosite, with slight curvatures on the faces and edges, shiny, of a very intense and uniform pink color, and on matrix. Accompanied by Galena and white spheroidal coatings of Quartz microcrystals. From a French collection, it is a splendid example from this classic American locality, both for the richness of crystals and the intensity of color.
