Aurichalcite

Recorded under neon light

Recorded under neon light

MTJ16CD3: In thin, crisscrossed “stockwork”-like plates formed of a ferruginous matrix completely covered by botryoidal masses of Goethite, groups of very bright Aurichalcite crystals have been deposited, predominantly grass-green, giving a beautiful chromatic contrast with the matrix.
Without claiming to be among the best from this famous locality, this piece is very fine and elegant. A little beauty.
